Operating as Jarosh Performance, Fueled by Athletes Acceleration, our program pairs the Jarosh Performance team’s local coaching with the Athletes Acceleration training system: velocity-based methods, structured periodization, and electronic timing that develop the speed, strength, and power that competitive Iowa athletics demand.

Our facility at 405 SE Magazine Rd brings the Athletes Acceleration model to Ankeny—sprint and acceleration work, structured strength progressions, and power development through plyometrics and ballistic movements. Every session follows a concurrent periodization structure, and our small-group, high-coaching-ratio format means athletes from Ankeny, Johnston, and the surrounding suburbs get individualized coaching on every rep, whether they’re a future Ankeny Hawk or Centennial Jaguar.

Every new athlete at our Ankeny location begins with an athletic assessment—sprint testing with electronic timing, vertical jump measurement, and a movement evaluation. We train athletes ages 8 through 18 across three age-specific programs: Multi-Sport Foundation (8-12), Competitive Edge (13-15), and College Prep (16-18). Each program is designed for the developmental needs of that age group.

Our free athletic assessment includes baseline speed testing (10/20/40 yard dash), vertical jump measurement, mobility screening, and a consultation with a certified performance coach to create a personalized training plan.

We train athletes across all sports including football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, track & field, lacrosse, volleyball, hockey, and more. Our training focuses on universal athletic qualities that transfer to any sport.
